More about Art Du Nord
We’re a pop-up gallery, and we were open for business from April 25-May 19, 2012 for our Spring Show in St. Paul, MN.
Until our next show, take a wander through our site and view partnering artists.
Our show wouldn’t be possible without the help of The Starling Project, a group working to match-make aspiring entrepreneurs and retail or office space-seekers with building owners along the University Avenue corridor recovering from light rail construction and searching for tenants. Find Starling on Twitter or Flickr.
Why Art Du Nord?
The owner/organizer, Jennifer, rang in the year 2012 with an inspiring starlit sauna at Camp du Nord, a camp north of Ely, MN, complete with a frigid dip in Burntside Lake. Starting off a new year in such invigorating fashion seemed like it should bring a sort of luck, and she thought she’d borrow some for this passion project. With a wink and a nod to Minnesota’s northern European heritage, the name Art Du Nord was born.
