Joe Hrabe is an energetic young designer based in Minneapolis. We’ve got a few of his digital prints in this show, including posters like Neopolitan, shown here, exploring typeface and color.
While Joe’s work is often playful (yes, he really does have a print pattern of hot dogs in his portfolio), he also shows work with more subtle qualities. His senior project series, completed in May 2011 as part of his graphic design degree from MCAD, displays a sense of dramatic elegance combined with a bit of drama in the narrow focus and sharply contrasting rich blacks with soft, creamy whites.
Find more of Joe’s work on his portfolio website, or come in to the shop when we’re open in April to see his posters and prints first-hand.
